JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Governor’s Summit on Innovative Education continues today in Jamestown.

The summit is a focus of innovative instruction, practices to personalized learning, and other community-derived solutions. Educators from New Rockford-Sheyenne, Oakes, West Fargo, Century High School, Rolla, Bottineau, Rugby, Jamestown and more both attended and held discussion in the summit.

More than 500 people registered to attend the event.

Governor Doug Burgum says the focus of day one was innovation and focus at all levels of education in North Dakota.

Educators, leaders, and innovators from across the state participated in different panels and discussions Wednesday at the Jamestown High School. Governor Burgum says the discussions today will focus on a major topic in the state; behavioral health.
