ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WITN) The marine industry is expanding once again in one county here in the east.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday for Onslow Bay Boatworks.

The company is consolidating its five other buildings in Hampstead and Wilmington, to all be under one roof in Holly Ridge.

The company is bringing more than 20 employees with them, but the owner plans to more than double his staff in the next year-and-a-half, by hiring new employees.

They will be an anchor company in the Camp Davis Industrial Park, where local leaders say more growth is expected.
