Officer Jeremy Salley and members of the Community Police Services Division took to the tennis courts with campers from Norwalk Grassroots Tennis & Education including Caleb Dubose Perry, 7, and Victoria Lazaro, 9, Friday, August 2, 2019, at the tennis courts at Nathaniel Ely School in Norwalk, Conn. The annual visits to the program are an effort to form positive relationships with Norwalk’s underserved youth. Norwalk PAL, a nonprofit that provides cultural, educational and athletic experiences to local children, has consistently donated money to the program. Each year, officers join the children for a friendly volley on the Nathaniel Ely School tennis courts.
