STOCKTON — The Stockton Schools Initiative will host a citywide education summit on Saturday aimed at discussing the cradle-to-career student pipeline.

The free summit is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hamilton Elementary School, at 2245 11th St. in Stockton.

Educational leaders will examine data from San Joaquin Delta College and both Stockton and Lincoln unifieds, starting with prenatal care/birth, through K-12 education and beyond.

The summit will be a space to discuss data from a baseline report made by SSI on K-12 education in Stockton schools, including topics such as pre-school enrollment, third-grade literacy, eighth-grade math competency, A-G course requirement completion and more.
