Sen. (R-Maine) refused to budge on her controversial support for Supreme Court Justice ’s confirmation last year, and now the consequences of that decision may be coming home to roost.
In an published Monday, the senator noted that her decision to stand behind Kavanaugh after accused him of sexually assaulting her when they were in high school will inevitably affect her reelection bid, but Collins suggested that her choice was justified.
