Elementary ed. scholar program

California University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications from current high school seniors to attend the Rutledge Institute Scholars program beginning in fall 2020. The Rutledge Institute prepares highly qualified Cal U students for careers as preschool and elementary school teachers and operates a state- and nationally accredited preschool program on campus. The program annually admits 10 first-year students who receive annual scholarships that covers the full cost of tuition, academic fees and on-campus housing. Rutledge Institute Scholars graduate with a bachelor’s degree in education for grades PreK-4, a Pennsylvania Level I teaching certification and an Integrative STEM Education Endorsement credential.
