Six weeks before Antonio Brown allegedly raped his former trainer in 2018, the New England Patriots wide receiver was trying to gain sole custody of three of his children and have their mother, Chelsie Kyriss, removed from his Florida home.

On April 6, 2018, Brown sought a court order in Broward County to have Kyriss, his longtime girlfriend, forced out of the home where she and Brown lived with their three children and to have her prohibited from entering any of Brown’s residences without written permission.
