Michigan can breathe again.
The seventh-ranked Wolverines held off Army in overtime 24-21 at the Big House when Josh Uche recovered a fumble by Black Knights quarterback Kelvin Hopkins in the second overtime. The turnover came after Jake Moody hit a 43-yard field goal on the first possession of the second extra period.
The loss was a major disappointment for Army, which also fell in overtime at Oklahoma last season. Its last top 10 victory came in 1963.
