HALIFAX – North Carolina is getting 120 jobs from China and California in an economic development deal announced Monday.

PCB Piezotronics, which designs and builds a variety of sensors, says it will add 120 jobs to an existing facility in Halifax County following the acquisition of assets from a rival manufacturer. Positions will be moved from China and California operated by Endeveco, which was part of Meggitt PLC.

PCB also will invest $4.5 million in its Halifax facility, the company and Gov. Roy Cooper announced. It already has more than 200 workers at the site.
