The Department of Justice has confirmed that neither former White House counsel Don McGahn nor ’s son testified before former special counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury.
The department’s confirmation came on Sunday as part that Chief Judge Beryl Howell of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., ordered revealed last week. It was filed by Associate Deputy Attorney General Bradley Weinsheimer.
“Don McGahn did not testify before the grand jury. Indeed, none of the witnesses for whom the Committee requested FBI Interview Reports in Volume II of the Mueller Report … testified before the grand jury, with the exceptions of [redacted],” the filing states. “Donald Trump, Jr. also did not testify before the grand jury.”
