At the moment, there are eight managerial jobs open in Major League Baseball. Here they’re ranked from best to worst, in one man’s opinion:

          1. Cubs.  Still loaded with talent, especially offensively — Baez, Bryant, Rizzo, etc.

          2. Phillies. Tremendous underachievers last year, but plenty of potential on the roster. 

          3. Mets. Rookie stud Pete Alonso bashed 53 homers to lead majors.

          4. Angels.  Mike Trout remains in center field.

          5. Padres. Team is located in San Diego.

          6. Pirates. Rebuilding just starting.

          7. Giants. Bochy gone,
