With “Black Sunday” a mere five days away, rumors are running rampant on which college football programs will be looking for new head coaches for the 2020 season.

According to Dan Wolken of USA Today, there are five schools that could post job openings in the coming days.

The college football columnist singled out Missouri, Boston College, Mississippi State, Arizona and Michigan State as potential vacancies come regular season’s end.

Wolken wrote of Missouri: “Barry Odom will be 25-25 after four years assuming he beats Arkansas this weekend. This year’s team has been a massive disappointment, losing five in a row heading into the season final.”

Odom’s buyout, Wolken added, is a reasonable $2.65 million.
