CLEVELAND, Ohio – City Council is expected later today to approve , linking the upper floors of the old Higbee Building to parking across the street.
Approval by City Council, and a signature from Mayor Frank Jackson, are is the last hurdles for the project
JACK Entertainment has said the easy access to parking would make upper floors in the Higbee Building attractive for leasing, sparking activity in the neighborhood.
Legislation for the project was approved by the entire council, meeting as a committee of the whole, on Monday afternoon. It is expected to get final approval Monday evening. It could be effective as soon as Tuesday, once signed by Jackson.
