JACKSONVILLE – Doug Marrone’s thoughts remain singular.

“When I’m in this building, my thoughts are, ‘How are we going to get ourselves to play a better game?’ We’re not playing well,’’’ he said.

That’s how the Jaguars’ head coach began his weekly media availability Wednesday, and such were his thoughts throughout the session. The Jaguars are struggling. What matters to Marrone is how to change that, and on Wednesday he reiterated said Monday following a fifth consecutive one-sided loss:

Confidence is a major issue.

And a challenge is how to find it.
