The Augusta Commission voted Wednesday to enter a 10-year agreement for an entertainment company, C4 Live LLC, to bring events to Lake Olmstead Stadium starting Masters Week.
The commission approved a “stadium master lease” of the facilities to the Augusta Development Authority, which brought C4 Live to the table and will sublet the property.
“It’s a huge win for Augusta — this company wants to come in and invest their money in the stadium each year at no cost to the taxpayers,” Mayor Pro Tem Sean Frantom said.
Based in Las Vegas and New York, C4 Live produces music festivals, the Super Bowl halftime show for Direct TV, he said. It will transform the venue into an entertainment pavilion April 6-11 and bring an A-list
