WEST VIRGINIA (WVVA)- Governor Jim Justice unveiled his ‘Jobs & Hope West Virginia’ program in Bluefield last October, which aims to support men and women recovering from substance abuse disorders, actively seeking employment.

A recurring barrier for many of the program participants, the absence of a driver’s license, which prohibits them from legally driving to meet an employer.

The program is able to connect the participants with resources to help them get on their feet, including providing transportation to their employment.

Jobs and Hope WV just launched a new program through the Circulation App that went live January 29, which provides Lyft drivers to take the participants to their jobs.
