To mark the UNESCO International Day of Education today, leading digital money transfer company WorldRemit is highlighting the impact of international money transfer in making education available globally. WorldRemit customers transfer money on a daily basis, allowing their friends and family across the globe access to education where they otherwise wouldn’t have it.
A survey conducted by WorldRemit1 in 2019 found that among its customers in US, UK, Canada and Germany, 43% send money abroad for education purposes.
