Samsung brought a robot to its keynote at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show. The tech giant took the wraps off of Ballie, a small, rolling home robot with a built-in camera, microphone, and speaker. Details are forthcoming, but Sebastian Seunghat, executive vice president and chief research scientist at Samsung, said that it’s designed to understand, support, and dynamically react to owners’ needs.
