This includes six games from Nintendo, starting with in 2016. The latest, , released in September. 2017’s is by far the most successful. It accounts for 61% of that $1 billion. You can see its dominance in the chart below.

Bizarrely, the three games with Nintendo’s main mascot’s name in them are performing the worst: Mario Kart Tour, Super Mario Run, and . The puzzle game Dr. Mario World is having an especially rough time, making up less than 1% of the $1 billion.

Super Mario Run is the only premium game on the list.
