DeWitt, N.Y. — Tracey Road Equipment Inc. plans to expand its headquarters in DeWitt, a move the heavy-duty truck and construction equipment dealer says will create 30 jobs over the next five years.
Tracey representatives told the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday that it is planning to build a 31,000-square-foot addition to its facility at 6803 Manlius Center Road. The company said it is outgrowing its current, 55,000-square-foot facility and needs more space.
Tracey employs 140 people in DeWitt. That number will rise to 170 when the 30 new jobs are added, the company said. The new jobs will pay from $35,000 to $45,000 a years, it said.
The company also has facilities in Albany, Binghamton, Queensbury, Rochester, Utica and Watertown.
