RALEIGH, N.C. (WAVY) — During the Thursday North Carolina coronavirus briefing, Governor Cooper said the state plans to move into phase one of easing restrictions next week.
“Last week we shared details on key indicators we’re watching to ensure data & facts guide our decisions. Those graphs are updated daily on the Case Count Dashboard at nc.gov/covid19. We remain optimistic the trends will be stable enough to move us into Phase 1 next week,” said Cooper.
Additionally, the briefing discussed a newly tested experimental drug tested at UNC, the partnership with the Carolina Community Tracing Collaborative, and the issues that continue with personal protective equipment supplies.
