Two Village employees have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Granville Village Manager Herb Koehler.

“Both are recovering fairly well, considering their condition,” Koehler told council members during their May 20 meeting. “One is doing a little bit better than the other.”

He said it’s “looking promising” for their recovery.”

Koehler said other members of the street department are on 14-day quarantine, and some others are being closely monitored and are not presently working with others.

Despite that, he assured, “At this point, we’re able to keep up…with service needs.”

Koehler also informed council that the Village’s first-responders will soon be receiving testing for antibody
