When astronauts return to the moon in 2024, naturally, they’re going to need to use the bathroom…which is not an easy feat in low gravity. Of course, some space toilets already exist like that of the one in the International Space Station, but NASA wants this next one to be “smaller, more efficient and capable of working in both microgravity and lunar gravity” while having all the same capabilities of our toilets here on planet Earth.
