Eleven seafood processor workers in Whittier have tested positive for COVID-19, city officials said Thursday.
The first case among Whittier Seafood workers was identified Monday, city manager Jim Hunt said by phone Thursday afternoon.
The rest of the employees at the seafood processing plant were tested Monday, and the city received results Wednesday showing that 10 more workers tested positive, Whittier’s assistant city manager, Annie Reeves, said in a Facebook post.
The employees who tested positive were immediately isolated and then taken to stay
