A California company plans to relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations to Dayton, Tennessee, investing $4 million and creating 72 jobs over three years, officials said Monday.
Master Manufacturing Group, a custom tube fabricator, will renovate and upgrade an existing manufacturing facility located at 220 Masters Way in Dayton, according to Gov. Bill Lee.
“What happens in rural Tennessee affects every Tennessean, and so we’re excited by this investment from Master Manufacturing Group to bring more jobs and growth to Rhea County,” the governor said in a statement.
Also, the building will undergo extensive retrofitting in order to install holding tanks, electrical and hydraulic infrastructure, and create adequate ventilation for welding and painting operations.
