LLCHD reports a record-high 422 COVID-19 Cases; one additional COVID-19 death – KOLN

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department announced on Saturday that another resident has died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Lancaster County to 67.  The individual was a man in his 80s.  On behalf of the City, Mayor Gaylor Baird expresses condolences to his family and friends.

LLCHD reports 422 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lancaster County today, bringing the community total to 14,428.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  If you have symptoms, please get tested.  Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents
