As concerns over COVID-19’s delta variant rise, proof of vaccination status has begun to appear at some entertainment venues and restaurants across the Hudson Valley.  

Theaters such as The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville and Poughkeepsie’s Bardavon now require proof of vaccine; and while most restaurants have not yet followed NYC’s mandate to allow only the vaccinated to dine indoors, some have voluntarily done so.

The  had previously held vaccinated only screenings three days a week, but updated its policy this week, requiring that beginning Aug. 19, all patrons must provide proof of vaccination and valid ID in order to enter for any  screening. This includes the vaccination card, a photo of said card, or New York’s Excelsior Pass, all of which must be accompanied by a valid photo
