LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Anti-maskers returned to the Lakewood City Schools Board of Education meeting on Monday (Oct. 18); however, unlike two weeks ago when unruly and unmasked guests forced an early adjournment, this time district officials were ready.

“We had a repeat but they were not able to disrupt our meeting,” Lakewood City Schools Board President Betsy Shaughnessy said. “The majority of the disruptors were outside, and we had plenty of Lakewood police there. So with just a little bit of discussion, we were able to hear from everyone from both sides and then do our business.”
