SUNBURY – Spyglass Ridge Winery could be in jeopardy of not being able to hold future concerts and other entertainment – that includes this weekend’s Hot Air Balloon Festival. Sunbury Attorney Joel Wiest, representing winery owners Tom and Tammy Webb, says Rockefeller Township Supervisors notified his clients they may be breaking its agriculture zoning ordinance.

Wiest says he’s asking a Northumberland County judge for an immediate injunction so the Hot Air Balloon Festival scheduled to begin Friday can continue while the case is being litigated. Wiest says he expects a decision before Friday. According to Wiest, it’s unknown yet if the venue will still try to hold the festival if the injunction is denied.
