The National Park Service has released its  for 2022.

That saves up to $35 per vehicle at popular national parks like Glacier, Grand Canyon and Grand Teton. Park lovers who take advantage of all five dates can save a pretty penny, depending on where they choose to visit.

There are 423 sites across the park service system, including national seashores, battlefields, recreation areas and more.

Not all sites charge entrance fees, and there may be other types of fees at parks operated in partnership with other parties. For instance, Waco Mammoth is managed by the park service, the City of Waco, Texas, and Baylor University. It charges an for its dig shelter. Mount Rushmore, which is operated with Xanterra Travel Collection, charges a garage . 

Visitors should check the fee schedule for any parks they plan to visit to avoid unwelcome surprises.
