Leesburg, VA (June 7, 2022) – In partnership with Crossroads Jobs, Inc. and Rabbi Neil Tow of Congregation Sha’are Shalom, the Leesburg Diversity Commission is hosting an employment fair in the lower level banquet hall at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center on Sunday, June 26. The fair will run from 1 to 4 p.m.The fair is aimed at entry-level job seekers and people who have experienced barriers to hiring, such as gaps in employment history, lack of interview skills, or language proficiency. Crossroads Jobs and other organizations will be on hand to provide support and assistance to job seekers. The fair is free to job seekers. Pre-registration at www.leesburgva.gov/employment-fair is encouraged but not required. Job seekers should bring copies of their resume or work history and a bag for literature and “swag” items from employers. Dress code is business casual or business professional.Confirmed employers include Books International, Flying Food Group, Good Shepherd of Northern Virginia, Loudoun County Fire & Rescue, Meadow Glen of Leesburg, My Guys Moving and Storage, NOVA Home Health Care, Plexus Scientific, Salamander Resort & Spa, Shirley Contracting, Sierra, Sodexo Healthcare, Spring Arbor of Leesburg, Tuskies Restaurant Group, Unique Staffing Professionals, and Visiting Angels.
