U.S. stocks opened lower after the latest employment report showed employers added jobs at a strong but slower clip in May.
The S&P 500 slipped 1.1% shortly after the opening bell. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 291 points, or 0.8%, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 1.7%.
