Carnival rides, food, entertainment highlight Plymouth Fall Festival – Hometown Life

Ready for a whirling, twirling and spinning good time? The annual Plymouth Fall Festival, now in its 66th season, is set for Sept. 9-11 in downtown Plymouth.Carnival rides open at 3 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.If spinning, swinging and bouncing to the blare of carnival music isn’t your thing, the weekend also includes a full lineup of entertainment, a car show, craft show, pet show and vendors. And, of course, food.“The festival is a great cap on a wonderful season on events that really show the vibrancy of our business districts and the people who like to live, work and play in Plymouth,” said Plymouth Mayor Nick Moroz. “It’s a celebration of everything that is welcoming and inclusive and prideful about our community.” In addition to carnival food, the festival will once host the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 10, and the traditional Rotary Club annual Chicken BBQ, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or until sold out), Sunday, Sept. 11.
