MUSEUM CAMPUS — The Chicago Bears will reveal plans for a new stadium in Arlington Heights next week as they continue taking steps that could lead them out of Solider Field and into their own home in the suburbs.The team will present conceptual plans for an Arlington Heights stadium 7-9 p.m. Sept. 8 at John Hersey High School, 1900 E. Thomas St. in the northwest suburb, according to a statement shared by village officials.Team leaders said their “transit-oriented, mixed-use entertainment district anchored by a stadium” at the now-closed Arlington Park racetrack would be “one of the largest development projects in Illinois state history.”The meeting is first come, first served until the venue reaches capacity. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8.Next week’s meeting is meant to show off the plan to the public and field questions.
