Musical artist and fashion designer Kanye West, who now goes by the name Ye, has agreed to acquire social media platform Parler, the company’s parent Parlement Technologies announced Monday. “In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves,” Ye said in the statement.
