PITTSBURGH PA – PNC Bank, which operates local branch offices in Pottstown, Royersford, Collegeville, Phoenixville, and Audubon, has begun offering a new education benefit available to the company’s 62,000 employees after 90 days of employment, it said Thursday (Oct. 6, 2022).
It gives full- and part-time employees access to education that includes a curated catalog of tuition-covered professional certificates, college prep courses, and associate and bachelor’s degrees. They’re intended to help advance career mobility, the bank said. Fully-funded, partially-funded, and reimbursement options are available.
The education offerings are provided through a partnership with Guild Education, a company that supplies courses to employees that can help them move up in their careers.
“As a leading financial services organization, PNC is supporting career mobility in high-demand areas such as data science and cybersecurity,” Guild President Natalie McCullough explained. The bank is “taking an intentional approach to create career pathways for its existing employees,” she said.
