Consumer complaints about air travel are sky-high — even though the number of people flying remains below the pre-pandemic levels of 2019, according to a report released Wednesday. The volume of consumer complaints has quadrupled since that year, when 15,342 grievances were recorded, according to U.S. Department of Transportation data analyzed by the U.S. PIRG Education Fund, a nonprofit advocacy group.
