AirAsia X proudly steps up as the Official Airline Partner for Kazakhstan’s two premier football events – the Qazaqstan Final Cup and Final Cup League. This collaboration emphasizes AirAsia’s commitment to connecting people globally and inspiring dreams through the universal language of sports.
By joining forces with Kazakhstan’s football community, AAX continues its tradition of supporting athletic endeavors worldwide. From local grassroots programs to international sporting events, AirAsia has consistently backed athletes and competitions, reinforcing its ‘Dare to Dream’ campaign, which encourages individuals to pursue their aspirations.
As football remains Kazakhstan’s most beloved sport, these tournaments provide a powerful platform to engage millions of fans. The events will be broadcast to over two million viewers across Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Europe. Through this extensive reach, AAX not only strengthens its foothold in Central Asia but also highlights Malaysia as an attractive travel destination.
Being the sole airline offering direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Almaty, AAX plays a crucial role in bridging Central Asia and Southeast Asia. Since the route’s launch this year, AAX has sustained a remarkable 90% load factor on its four weekly flights, demonstrating the growing demand for travel between the regions. The airline views this as an opportunity to enhance connectivity and deepen ties between Malaysia and Central Asia.
