The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation, in collaboration with 1000UT, successfully organized an exclusive Destination B2B networking event in Budapest, Hungary, on 26th September 2024. The event featured the participation of 6 representatives from 3 key Maldivian tourism companies: Robinson Maldives, Kandima Maldives, and Intour Maldives.
The primary goal of the event was to boost the Maldives’ brand visibility in the Central & Eastern European markets and establish connections with potential agents and buyers. Partnering with 1000UT, one of Hungary’s top tour operators since 2001, Visit Maldives engaged with 40 Hungarian travel agents to promote the Maldives as a leading travel destination. Held at UP Hotel Budapest, the event showcased presentations from Maldivian partners, providing in-depth insights into the country’s tourism offerings. This enabled Hungarian travel agents to gain firsthand knowledge of the Maldives, its diverse products, and the unique services provided by the featured properties.
