National Business Aviation Association to Offer Blade Helicopter Service at 2024 Convention in Las Vegas
Wednesday, October 2, 2024
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has renewed its partnership with Blade Air Mobility, Inc. (BLADE) to offer on-demand aerial transportation for the 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, NV.
Building on the strong demand from previous years, BLADE will again provide helicopter flights during the event, allowing attendees to travel seamlessly between the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and Henderson Executive Airport (HND), where the NBAA-BACE aircraft display will be showcased.
Operated by Orbic Air, each helicopter flight seats up to five passengers, offering a convenient and efficient way to navigate the event. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to experience the benefits of on-demand aerial mobility as the aviation industry approaches the launch of electric-powered advanced air mobility (AAM) aircraft.
“We are pleased to again partner with BLADE to provide these unique and thrilling flights as part of NBAA-BACE,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “Based on the number of sold-out flights at previous editions of NBAA-BACE, it’s clear that business aviation is ready and eager to experience widespread availability of on-demand mobility options.”
“BLADE is excited to continue our partnership with the NBAA. This year, we have expanded our schedule and charter options, enhancing our helicopter service between the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport ” said BLADE President Melissa Tomkiel. “This program highlights the efficiency of our services and underscores its practical applications as we transition from traditional rotorcraft to quiet, emission-free electric vertical aircraft.”
