Kim Kardashian is famous for her reality TV appearances, being married to rap superstar Kanye West, being the step daughter of headline grabbing athlete Bruce Jenner, who is currently undergoing a sex change and is now living as Caitlyn Jenner, and having a large behind that supposedly once ‘broke the internet’ (it didn’t though). While some may wonder exactly why Kardashian is such a celebrity, it seems the media can’t get enough of Kim and Kanye, and so the recent news that they are expecting a second child has caused something of a sensation.

Kim and Kanye have been together since 2012, and in that time have fitted in a lavish wedding in Florence, Italy and the birth of their daughter, North West, as well as all of their various celebrity engagements and, in Kanye’s case, occasionally making some music or performing live. Kim announced her latest pregnancy on Father’s Day via her Instagram account, which has 37 million followers for some reason. She posted a picture of Kanye and North reading together, along with some schmaltz about what a great father he is and how she expects him to be the ‘best father’ to the son they are expecting.
Kim’s Interesting Maternity Style
One of the things people are going to be most curious to see is if Kim’s concept of maternity style has mellowed to any degree since her first pregnancy. While many people loved the way she didn’t stop her bump letting her wear her trademark sexy outfits, many others found her maternity look somewhat trashy and in bad taste. Will 2015’s Kim be strutting around showing off her pregnancy in a midriff baring gold sequin top, or will she be going for something more classic this time around? Perhaps Caitlyn Jenner, who is already being lauded for her style sense despite only having publicly appeared as a woman for a few weeks, will be on hand to offer Kim some new fashion advice!
What Will the New Baby Be Named?
As well as what kind of style we can expect to see pregnant Kim Kardashian 2.0 rocking, another topic that has celebrity watchers intrigued is what the choice of name will be for the new baby. Unlike a royal baby, which tends to be the subject of almost as much hype, it is unlikely we will be seeing a classic name like George, Peter or David for the son of New York’s biggest star couple. Perhaps the biggest question is, will they go with a theme and call him South West? And if so, what if they have more children? North-North West? Key West? Go West?
The answers to these and all of our other Kardashian pregnancy related questions are certain to come in time, but until the baby is born we will just have to console ourselves with the inevitable barrage of pregnancy selfies Kim will be posting on her Instagram account between now and then!
