Dimensional Ink Games announced that DC Universe Online (DCUO) will now be available as a native client for PlayStation 5.

That means players on this platform will experience powerful performance improvements and native PS5 features, according to Dimensional Ink’s new lead producer Kenn “Kendricke” White.

The game was originally published as a free-to-play massively multiplayer online game in 2011, and it is co-published by Daybreak Game Company and WB Games.

White said his first couple months running the Dimensional Ink Games studio were spent split between getting ramped up on the team and priorities as well as getting back into the game (racing his nine-year-old to level 30 on new characters).
